BML Islamic has
contributed MVR 100,000 to MOMS Aid’s ‘Back to School’ initiative, helping
provide essential school supplies for 100 students from financially struggling
families as they prepare for the new academic year.
This donation
underscores BML Islamic’s commitment to social responsibility and continues its
long-standing partnership with MOMS Aid. Over the years, the bank has actively
supported various initiatives led by the organization, including staff
contributions to MOMS Aid’s Ramadan campaign, which assisted families in need
with basic necessities.
The donation
comes as part of BML Islamic’s broader community outreach efforts, aligning
with the bank’s 10th anniversary celebrations. By supporting initiatives that
directly impact local communities, BML Islamic aims to foster financial
inclusion and improve the lives of vulnerable groups across the Maldives.
Commenting on
the initiative, a representative from BML Islamic stated, “We are proud to
support MOMS Aid’s ‘Back to School’ campaign, which ensures that students from
underprivileged families have the necessary resources to start their school
year with confidence. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to making
a meaningful difference in our community.”
MOMS Aid has
been at the forefront of supporting families in financial distress, and the
‘Back to School’ campaign is one of its key annual projects aimed at easing the
burden on struggling parents. The collaboration with BML Islamic further
strengthens efforts to ensure that every child has access to quality education
without financial constraints.
