MPSA to Host Maldives’ First Professional Speakers Retreat in Dharavandhoo

The Maldives Professional Speakers Association (MPSA) will host the country’s first-ever Professional Speakers Retreat from October 31 to November 2, 2025, in Baa Atoll’s Dharavandhoo. The event is being organized in partnership with the B. Dharavandhoo Council.

Designed as an immersive professional development experience, the retreat will provide participants with opportunities to refine their speaking, leadership, and communication skills in a setting that blends learning with cultural discovery. Organizers highlight that the retreat draws inspiration from Dharavandhoo’s natural beauty, local traditions, and flavors, offering a backdrop unlike conventional conference halls.

The three-day retreat will feature workshops, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities, bringing together aspiring and experienced speakers to share knowledge and inspire one another. According to MPSA, the program is aimed at helping participants “discover their best ideas and wisdom” in a uniquely Maldivian environment.
