Hard Rock Hotel Maldives has been awarded the prestigious
Gold Winner title at the 2024 Stella Awards in the Best International
Hotel/Resort category. Recognized by Northstar Meetings Group, the award
celebrates the hotel’s outstanding achievements in the meetings and events
industry, distinguishing it as a top venue for delivering exceptional service
and innovative event experiences.
The Stella Awards, a benchmark of excellence in the global
hospitality sector, are voted on by meeting professionals and judged by a panel
of industry experts. Hard Rock Hotel Maldives' win reflects its unique approach
to meetings and events, blending creativity, music, and wellness to create
memorable experiences.
With a range of event spaces spanning 1,300 square meters,
including the CROSSROADS Event Hall, a versatile function lawn, and a poolside
terrace, the hotel offers both indoor and outdoor venues suited for gatherings
of all sizes. Its innovative Breakout program enhances the traditional
corporate meeting by offering team-building activities like Sound of Your
Stay®—where participants create their own soundtracks—and Rock Om®, which
merges music and wellness. This approach has helped set a new standard for corporate
events in the Maldives, ensuring that every meeting is a dynamic and engaging
experience.
Frederic Lebegue, General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel
Maldives, expressed his pride in the recognition. “This award highlights the
dedication of our Breakout team, whose creativity and passion ensure that every
meeting becomes an event to remember. Our goal has always been to deliver
legendary events that make a lasting impact, and this recognition reinforces
our commitment to providing unmatched service and unforgettable experiences for
our clients.”
The Stella Awards honor excellence across key industry
segments, including hotels, convention centers, airlines, and cruise lines.
With over 8,000 votes cast and 1,001 nominations this year, the winners are
celebrated for their overall excellence, superior food and beverage offerings,
professionalism, and sustainability initiatives in the meetings and events
industry.
