Atoll, one of the Maldives’ most celebrated resorts, is set to host an
exclusive culinary event in partnership with renowned Indian celebrity chef,
Avinash Martins. The three-day affair will run from November 14 to 16, 2024,
offering guests a unique blend of Maldivian and Indian flavors curated by the
acclaimed chef.
Chef Avinash
Martins, recognized for his innovative approach to sustainable cuisine, will
showcase his culinary prowess during this one-of-a-kind event. Known for
highlighting fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Chef Avinash was recently
named one of India’s Top Chefs 2023 by Culinary Culture and awarded Sustainable
Chef of the Year at the Travel+Leisure India Delicious Dining Awards. His
restaurants, Cavatina and C’est L’avi, have earned top accolades, including
being ranked 12th on Condé Nast Traveller India’s Top Restaurant Awards 2023.
The partnership
between LUX* South Ari Atoll and Chef Avinash promises an unforgettable dining
experience. Guests will have the chance to indulge in a five-course
Maldivian-Indian fusion menu at the resort’s open-air Indian restaurant,
Senses, on November 14 and 16. The menu will feature a Goan twist, combining
Chef Avinash’s expertise with the resort’s diverse gastronomy, recently
recognized as Leading Food & Beverage Resort at the South Asian Travel
Awards.
On November 15,
Chef Avinash will host an interactive master class at Amaa’s Kitchen, allowing
participants to learn culinary tips and tricks directly from the celebrity
chef.
Beyond its
exceptional dining, LUX* South Ari Atoll offers a tropical paradise experience
with 1.8km of pristine beach, wellness activities, and water sports. Guests can
explore the South Ari Marine Protected Area and encounter marine life like
manta rays and whale sharks.
This
collaboration reflects the shared passion of Chef Avinash Martins and LUX*
South Ari Atoll for delivering culinary excellence and creating extraordinary,
sustainable experiences for their guests.
