Ooredoo Maldives has announced a special art contest for its annual “Fun Run” event, inviting children under the age of seven to design a Fun Run logo during the ongoing school holidays. Winners will receive exclusive Fun Run kits.
According to
Ooredoo, participants can take part by creating artwork related to the Fun Run
and submitting a clear photo or scan of it via email to
[email protected] before 11:59 p.m. next Saturday.
Submissions must include the child’s full name, age, guardian’s name, and
contact number. Contestants may also add an optional 20-word caption to
accompany their artwork.
The submitted
entries will be shared on Ooredoo’s official social media platforms. The five
artworks that receive the highest number of likes will each win a Fun Run kit.
Ooredoo emphasized that likes will only be counted from its official posts and
that each child is allowed to submit only one entry.
Speaking about
the initiative, Ooredoo Chief Commercial Officer Husain Niyaz said the
competition gives the company’s design team a break while encouraging children
to capture the spirit of the Fun Run through their creativity. “Children can
best bring out the happiness and fun of this run,” Niyaz said.
The Ooredoo Fun
Run has become a popular annual event, held not only in Hulhumalé but also in
several other major islands across the Maldives. The company said the new
contest aims to engage children in the excitement of the event while fostering
artistic expression.
