As the holy
month of Ramadan approaches, Ooredoo Maldives has unveiled a series of
exclusive offers aimed at enhancing connectivity and engagement for its
customers. Among the highlights of this year’s Ramadan promotions is the return
of the ‘Karaa Felhun’ campaign, providing users with a chance to win a coveted
Apple Products Bundle and other exciting prizes.
Inspired by the
traditional Maldivian Ramadan refreshment, watermelon (“Karaa”), the Karaa
Felhun campaign introduces an interactive game on the Ooredoo App. Similar to
previous years' ‘Hadhiyafoshi’ initiative, the game allows users to tap and
break virtual watermelons daily to unlock rewards. Prizes include free data
add-ons, high-end gadgets such as air fryers, vacuum cleaners, and Nintendo
Switch consoles, as well as an Apple Watch. The grand prize winner will take
home an Apple Products Bundle, featuring an iPhone 16 Pro, MacBook Air, AirPods
4, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple HomePod, Apple iPad, Apple Pencil, AirPods Max,
and a 65-inch TV.
Beyond the Karaa
Felhun campaign, Ooredoo Maldives is rolling out a range of exclusive Ramadan
offers to ensure seamless connectivity throughout the month. Customers
activating select packages will receive a 20GB data bonus, while the widely
popular Dhan Dhan Data promotion makes a comeback, offering a 10GB nightly data
allowance on selected Aachaa packages. In addition, a new family sharing data
plan, priced at MVR 799, provides 150GB in total 100GB for the primary user and
25GB each for two additional members.
SuperNet
customers can also benefit from special Ramadan broadband speed boosts,
ensuring uninterrupted digital experiences during the holy month. Meanwhile,
prepaid users can stay connected with loved ones in Saudi Arabia through a
special calling and chat offer, available for MVR 150 and valid for 30 days.
In the spirit of
giving, Ooredoo has introduced new features on its m-Faisaa platform, enabling
customers to donate iftar meals digitally and conveniently pay their Fitr Zakat
from anywhere in the Maldives. To further enrich the spiritual experience of Ramadan,
Ooredoo Maldives is offering free prayer alerts, which users can activate by
texting “GO” to 4777. These alerts will notify users 15 minutes before each
prayer time, ensuring they never miss a moment of reflection and devotion.
