Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) participated in the “Saafu Roadha” program, an initiative by the Ministry of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works, in collaboration with the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture, and Heritage.
More than 500 employees from 16 sections and departments took part in the cleaning event, contributing to making Hulhulé a cleaner space for both staff and passengers. This initiative reflects MACL’s commitment to preserving the tradition of preparing for Ramadan while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
This effort aligns with MACL’s ongoing commitment to keeping Velana International Airport (VIA) clean and sustainable. As part of its Green Airport Initiative, MACL regularly conducts multiple cleaning events throughout the year.
