Maldivian businesses now have the opportunity to participate
in the 22nd China International Agricultural Trade Fair, which will take place
from 17 to 19 October in Tianjin, China.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade,
the invitation was extended by the Chinese government, offering Maldivian
companies a valuable platform to promote and market local agricultural and
fisheries products to an international audience.
The Ministry noted that the Ministry of Agriculture and
Rural Affairs of China will sponsor booth fees and construction costs for the
first eight Maldivian businesses that register, allowing them to participate
free of charge.
Interested companies are required to submit their
application form to [email protected] before 14:00 on Thursday, 28
August.
The China International Agricultural Trade Fair is one of
the country’s largest agricultural exhibitions, attracting businesses from
across the agriculture, fisheries, import, and wholesale sectors. The fair also
features a wide range of activities aimed at building partnerships and creating
new business opportunities.
