Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has rolled out a new nationwide promotion offering customers the chance to win a dream holiday to Bali and some of Apple’s most sought-after devices, simply by paying with their MIB card or Faisawear devices.
The promotion,
which runs until 15 January 2026, allows customers to enter a lucky draw by
making purchase transactions of MVR 300 or more using an MIB card at any
Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal operated by the bank. The campaign is open across
all participating merchants nationwide, with no outlet restrictions, making it
accessible to a wide range of customers.
Winners of the
promotion stand to receive an array of high-value prizes, with the first prize
being round-trip tickets to Bali, Indonesia, for two people. The second prize
is an iPhone 17 Pro Max, while the third prize is an Apple Watch Series 11,
adding further excitement to the campaign.
MIB has
confirmed that transactions made using Business Visa and Corporate Visa cards
are excluded from this promotion. However, customers can also take part using
innovative payment solutions such as the Faisawear Ring and Faisawear Tag,
reinforcing the bank’s push towards convenient and contactless payment options.
In parallel, MIB
is running a separate promotional campaign in collaboration with Ihusan
Fihaara. Under this offer, customers can participate by making purchases of MVR
200 or more using an MIB card at Ihusan Fihaara POS machines. This promotion
will also conclude on 15 January 2026.
Through these
campaigns, MIB aims to reward customer loyalty while encouraging greater
adoption of its card-based and wearable payment solutions across the Maldives.
