Maldivian shoppers using Bank of Maldives (BML) American Express® Credit Cards have an exciting opportunity to win big, as the bank launches a special spend promotion running from 15th September to 14th October 2025. Fifty lucky cardholders stand to win 50,000 BML Reward Points each, simply by making local payments using their BML Amex cards.
To participate,
cardholders must complete successful local transactions via BML’s point-of-sale
(POS) systems or payment gateway, with a minimum spend of MVR 8,000 during the
promotion period. Both BML American Express and BML Islamic American Express cardholders
are eligible, with winners selected through a Shari’ah-compliant Hibah-based
lucky draw at the end of the campaign.
The bank will
notify winners via SMS and publish results on its website. Those not yet
registered with the BML Rewards platform will be prompted to register to claim
their prize. If a winner fails to register within five days of notification,
BML reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
BML emphasized
that the promotion is not valid in conjunction with other offers and that all
decisions regarding eligibility, prize distribution, and disputes rest solely
with the bank. Employees of BML may participate under separate terms, while
customers with non-performing assets are excluded.
This initiative
aims to reward loyal cardholders and encourage the use of BML Amex cards for
local payments. The promotion represents another way the bank continues to
engage its customers while offering opportunities to earn valuable rewards.
For full
details, terms, and conditions, customers are advised to visit the BML website
or contact the bank directly.
